Making a Difference

We know that our people do not show up for work wanting to do a poor job. To the contrary, they want to be successful and part of collaborative professional team in a successful organization. They want to make a difference both at work and in their community.

At Granite, we work hard to support the aspirations of our people. On the Fortune 100 Best Places to Work survey, Granite scored higher than even the top 50 companies on how supported our people feel in really making a difference, both for their customers and their communities.

Two examples of how we support our employees in making a difference are first to give lots of responsibility early in their career, and second, to provide a strong Corporate Social Responsibility orientation to enhance their involvement in worthwhile organizations. In addition we offer the opportunity to collaborate with other good folks who are also looking to make a difference. The opportunities are great.
